What can you do today to build your business endurance?
Ask yourself these questions after you watch each video and write down your answers.
Question #1: Do you have a budget? Is it broken down by month and year? If not, here is a great place to start.
If yes, how can you modify your expenses to meet your next career goals? Would you like to invest? Diversify your income? Jot down your short-term and long-term goals and see how you can execute them.
Make your money work for you. The saying shouldn’t be “if I can make it happen” but “HOW can I make it happen?”
Question #2: Do you consider yourself a decisive person? If not – it’s time to start. Making even the smallest of decisions in a timely manner can help train your mind and body to have less anxiety around choices.
If yes, take the next step and identify what kind of decisions are difficult for you and how you cope with the indecisiveness. What helps you finally make a decision? Is it something that you needed or wanted? The quicker you can make decisions, the faster your goals can be accomplished and the stronger business owner you will become.
Question #3: What are five things in your everyday life that make you uncomfortable? Identify why they make you feel uncomfortable. Is it fear? Is it failure? The unknown? What other people think?
Write down your answers and then write five negative consequences of doing things that make you feel uncomfortable and five positive consequences of doing them. The more you are able to push your boundaries, the more growth you will see in yourself and your career. The strongest entrepreneurs live life on the edge of their comfort zone.
Question #4: What are your short and long-term goals? Write a list of goals and when you want to achieve them. Detail what your life looks like – personal and professionally. Then write down how this goal makes you feel.
Are you proud or happy? Do you feel financially free or have a better work/life balance? These are not just dreams; these are realities that you can make for yourself-starting today! You just need to identify the path to get there.
Question #5: Write down three difficult times in your life. Reflect back on them and write down something positive you learned from them.
Business ownership can be hard and as I’m sure you know, nothing good ever comes easy. If so, everyone would do it! But you know what? We can make difficult things easier by continuing to learn, reflect, and take small steps forward.
Rome wasn’t built overnight and your career won’t be either, but the benefits come to those who keep going!
